Amber L. Kalafus
Born & raised under the branches of oak trees in the southeastern region of the United States. Time as a child was spent getting stuck in the pluff mud and lost in the streets of Charleston, South Carolina. Beginning the journey as a poet at the age of 10, the arts were always a important way of life. High school graduation came in 2010 and then it was on to seeking a B.S. focused on Middle-Level Education at Winthrop University, located in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Hiatus years were taken for realignment before arriving to Naropa University in 2020, where she graduated with a B.A. in 2022. Currently, she is thriving in her career as an educator in Denver, Colorado.
Focused on healing the Earth and its inhabitants through the arts.
